my mp3 player died i think.. i dont know what happened but! i cant turn the stupid thing on when i want or turn it off.. it just turns off on its own.. sometimes i cant even play the stupid track, skip tracks or even stop it.. turning up the volume requires POUNDING on the button! i dont know what happened.. before it was so easy to use.. but i neglected it for about 2 months because of my finals that was during june as well as this month because i didnt need it since i dont travel for long distances that requires me to listen to music.. and so.. i think it was jealous that i used my computer to play music than the stupid mp3 itself so it decided to take revenge on me so it died!

LG MF-FD200TS model.. my dad chose that one over the samsung yepp that dbsg advertised during their debut and said it looked better and that the samsung yepp looked like a wood chip O_o .. i disagree because its a lot fatter than the samsung yepp yp-T5. that was during THEIR day when ipod didnt make quite such an impact on the range of mp3 players.

i had the mp3 player since i was in 10th grade which has been about over 3-4 years now.

AHHHH! this is depressing! i need one for uni.. i mean.. which uni student does not have a music player in their bag? it takes me about 1-2 hours to travel to uni via bus AND train AND walk so.. i absolutely NEED an mp3 player!

i am a music fanatic! i ABSOLUTELY LOVE MUSIC! its something i cant live without and.. i have about 20gigs of music on my computer and another 10 gigs in data cds (which i dont really listen to, thats why its there and not in my comp).

OK! im going on about random stuff! anyway.. the topic of this thread is of mp3 players in general but also:
- what mp3 player or music personal player do you have?
- what mp3 player would you like to have?
- what mp3 player would you recommend (for me) or think is good ?

OH YEA! i hate people who play music from their phones on speaker! ITS SO ANNOYING! thats why earphones were invented and INCLUDED when you buy the stupid phone! .... ok thats it...

I had a samsung yepp but it died on me ): so now im jst using this MSI Mega Player 533 SD one o_O. I think my motherboard is of the same "brand" and yeah haha. My dad got it for free too and its worked for quite awhile so im okay with it ^^



I would die without an mp3 in college. Literally. Music is my life but even so, I too get annoyed when people play their music out loud on the bus or trains. ;

yah, i have to agree to, mp3 players are a must for college --- through the time waiting between classes and to keep you awake in class
well, i have a black ipod nano and as for now i really would like to have the iphone but it is qutie expensive i would recommend ipod nano's b/c i think they are pretty strong, i mean i've dropped my a couple of times digging through my backpack for it and it is still working strong

^ ive been considering an ipod. possibly the 80gig one because i have so much stuff on my computer the ipod could double as an external hard drive ahaha! but if anyone else has any better mp3s please do suggest some =]

ok i just bought an ipod for $440AUSD ehehe.. its $40 lower than the RRP thanks to my mum's haggling! ehehe and connections with the store manager! >=] last night it froze O_O i was full sh*tting myself kuz i JUST got it and you know how you get when you first get something like youre really happy and if it crashes or gets wrecked youre going to be PISSED ehehe.. well i saved it somehow! PHEW! I've put 90% of my songs in my ipod ehehe.. now putting pics.. i cant seem to be able to put video for some reason. i converted the 'Rising Sun' mv and it was in my ipod but.. it doesnt have sound!! its so HQ but thats not the point! i need my dongbang EYECANDY! ahaha

It's soooo HQ. I was practically drooling. hahahha

But I love my Ipod though... as a dancer person... you gotta love it. xD

^ how the heck do you put videos into the ipod?! AHAH I checked the website and theres no direct and non-flowery descriptions and list of steps on how to put the damn thing in it! is there a file format that goes directly into it? without having it formatted?
anyway i took a pic of my ipod! ehehe i pimped it up with album artwork! AHAHA

That I don't know. Because for videos... as I said... I use my pink PSP.

anyone else? i tried again last night putting the My Little Princess (acapella) MV into it, and once again no audio when i play the video.. i want my moneys worth dammit!!

On iPod I think you can only put mp4...

eheh yep you're right! =] i figured it out like 2 weeks after i got my ipod! AHAHA i use the PQ DVD to ipod video converter. it works really well =]

I LOVE my ipod...couldnt live without it...ahahaha

But I'm looking into buying a real MP3 player.
Right now I'm looking at the Samsung P2 and I like it a lot.
I don't want to get anything from Apple.
Any other suggestions?

I heard irivers were good. I haven't personally used one for a long time but each time my friend lends me her iriver to listen to on the train to uni, from my observations, it has a really cool screen ehehe the sound is good too. I'm not sure about the features but it depends on what features you want so yea, guess you can search a round for irivers to find ones that suit you and then narrow it down =]

I would have gotten an iriver if they had more memory in them. At the time I was looking for an mp3 player, the irivers that were available in Australian retail stores only had 8gigs of memory and I needed 30gigs+
So in the end I settled for an Apple ipod. It's not bad at all. I haven't had major problems with it YET
